TNGOs hint ban on TV9 and ABN extends

Update: 2014-10-21 05:24 GMT
We are aware of the ban imposed on TV9 and ABN Andhrajyothi channels in Telangana state soon after TRS formed the Government. Looking at the latest developments, One gets the feeling the ban willn't be lifted anytime soon.

TNGOs President Subhash Reddy declared Telangana People weren't in a position to encourage TV9 and ABN Andhrajyothi any more. He went on to say the ban would have been lifted by now had if people were keen to watch these channels. He also declared Telangana Government isn't behind the ban on the news channels. He reminded even Court have taken the side of MSOs in this particular issue when the two channels filed a petition.

Only the ones with DTH Connections and those who could access Internet alone are able to follow the telecasts of TV9 and ABN Andhrajyothi channels since the past four months. How could TNGOs declare Telangana People weren't keen on watching these two channels? If this is true by any chance, What's the need of imposing a ban as people any how willn't be watching them?
