While many South Indian Stars such are queuing to meet BJP’s Prime Ministerial candidate Narendra Modi, surprisingly the Gujarat CM have visited superstar Rajnikanth at his Chennai residence yesterday for a personal meeting.
Media was abuzz with the speculations that Rajini may extend his support to BJP post the meet but nothing was happened and it just proved as a mere formal meeting
Like earlier once again the actor stood on his apolitical stand.After the meeting with NaMo Rajinikanth just said, “We are good friends. This was a courtesy call. When I was unwell, Modi ji wished me well. We wish him well in the elections,”
Modi also not spoke much about the meet and according to sources he simply wished Rajinikanth on the occasion of Tamil New year. Later on they hugged each other and Modi very soon left to a Public meeting in Chennai.
BJP leaders hoped that the party gets some support from the cine star who has a wide appeal not just in Tamil Nadu but in other states as well but all their dreams went on vain.
So, however we don’t know whether it is a electoral strategy of BJP or Narendra Modi’s life time wish to meet Rajinikanth but we surely say it will definitely creates interest in political circles.
