The Telangana Government has decided to take a huge leap in building the brand image of Hyderabad with the decision of building world's tallest building at Sanjeevaiah park near tank bund. As per reports KCR has given his nod for the construction of world's tallest tower at Sanjeevaiah Park on the banks of Hussainsagar.Recently KCR has conducted a review with the officials over building skyscrapers in the city and instructed them to explore the options for building the tallest tower than Burj Khaleefa in Dubai
KCR held a five-hour long meeting with the top officials including Chief Secretary Dr Rajiv Sharma to discuss the plans for beautification of Hussainsagar. The officials submitted the list of identified properties, along with their maps, where skyscrapers could be constructed. It has been decided to construct skyscrapers at 40 locations by expanding the area by 100 acres.
The identified areas/buildings include Bhudda Bhavan, Raniganj Bus Depot, Lower Tankbund, Kundan Bagh, Patigadda, Sailing Club, Youth Hostel, Raghav Sadan, Narsing Colony, Dilkusha Guest House, Greenlands, New MLA Quarters, Electricity Bhavan, Textbook Printing Press, Reddy Hostels, Burgula Ramakrishna Rao Building, Expotel and Snow World.
The Chief Minister said that within the next two years the face of Hyderabad has to be changed and ordered officials to work on the goal.
