Cheating case against Top Actress

A Kolkata-based Company has filed a case of fraud against Bollywood actress Shilpa Shetty and her businessman husband Raj Kundra of Mumbai-based firm Essential Sports and Media Pvt Ltd.

As per the complaint, The Celebrity Couple had fraudulently induced to invest Rs 9 crore in a company run by them promising huge returns (10 Times) which remained unfulfilled. MK Media Private Limited were allotted 30 lakhs equity shares of Essential Sports and Media Pvt Ltd after the amount was paid through RTGC. The Kolkata Company alleges the shares offered were bogus and also filed a civil suit before the Calcutta High Court seeking refund of Rs 9 crore investment.

A case was registered on charged of criminal conspiracy, cheating, extortion, criminal intimidation and criminal breach of trust.
