The failure of Kochhadiyan is still haunting south Indian super star Rajinikanth.The film was not helped to Rajini career but dragging him into unnecessary troubles.Now a cheating case has been filed against Rajini’s wife regarding the film.
The complaint lodged by Ad Bureau Advertising Pvt. Ltd, says that Latha Rajinikanth and producer Murali Manohar had cheated them after agreeing to give them the distribution rights of the movie. According to complainant, Latha and producer Murali Manohar entered into an agreement with him to offer the distribution rights of Kochadaiiyaan, for which he paid them Rs. 10.2 crore.
The complaint alleged that they sold rights to another party Euros and cheated him.The complainant further said that Rajini’s next movie Lingaa also sold to same company and they has sought police intervention in this issue.
Kochadaiiyaan, which was directed by Rajinikanth's second daughter Soundarya R. Ashwin, was released on May 22, 2014 and received mixed reviews from fans as well as from critics.
