Kalki Koechlin has got the courage to voice her views on any subject and at any time. After making headlines by speaking about feminism and child abuse , She now now raises a valid point about the Censorship.

The Bold Beauty opines - 'Censorship is nothing but the Government dictating terms to People, while in Democracy It's the people who have to dictate terms to the Government'.

Kalki faults the basic idea of having a Censor Board which was formed in 1951 and stresses a lot have changed over the years. She says films needn't have to censor once they were awarded an 'A' Certificate and it's up to adults to decide whether to watch it or not. "If you censor adult films, when are we going to become adults?," she questions.

'Margarita With A Straw' starring Kalki faced Censor issues for having bold content, such as lesbian kissing scene, masturbation scene and the love-making sequence of two people of same sex.
