Another case of casting couch was registered with Versova police after an aspiring actress revealed her tragic story to them. 23-year-old woman who claims to be a struggling actress filed compliant that she had been stripped and photographed and then blackmailed by some persons.
According to her complaint she was called to a bungalow in Mhada colony at Four Bungalows in Andheri (West) to audition for a film role. Once she was inside the house, the men stripped her and photographed her. She tried to escape but the accused stopped her and demanded Rs 1 lakh if she wanted the pictures not to get published in newspapers or circulated on the Internet
Since she was terrified, she went to the police station for help. However, when the policemen went to the bungalow it was empty. However, the police are investigating the case.
