Telugu actor Akkineni Naga Chaitanya's next untitled outing, which will be helmed by Vijay Kumar Konda, is likely to be produced by the actor's father Akkineni Nagarjuna under his home banner Annapurna Studios.
"Chaitanya's next film will be with director Vijay Kumar Konda. Chaitu recently agreed to star in the project as he was very much impressed with the script. The film is likely to produced by Nagarjuna sir under his home banner," a source from the industry told IANS.
"Chaitanya is currently shooting with his father and grandfather for 'Manam'. He is likely to start shooting for this new project from October onwards," source added.
One of the other reasons Chaitanya instantly agreed to work with Vijay Kumar is his last directorial venture "Gunde Jaari Gallanthayyinde" (GJG) was a blockbuster.
Made on a budget of Rs.10 crore, GJG reportedly minted over Rs.50 crore at the box-office. The film recently completed 100 days' run in Andhra Pradesh.
