Any actor, filmmaker, composer, writer and lyricist wishes to do at least one film with Maestro Ilayaraja. Tamil writer-cum-lyricist Madhan Karky (who wrote dialogues & lyrics for Baahubali Tamil version) is no exception. But, This Young Talent lost the golden opportunity due to an old tiff.

Actually, Prakash Raj planned to bring Ilayaraja and Madhan Karky on board for his upcoming directorial venture 'Un Samaiyal Araiyl'. Madhan didn't take much time to give his nod as his dream of working with the Maestro will be fulfilled. To his misery, Ilayaraja offered to quit if Prakash Raj was so particular about signing Madhan for the project.

Sources say, Ilayaraja and legendary Tamil lyricist Vairamuthu who have given memorable films parted ways due to difference of opinion and they aren't even on talking terms. As Madhan Karky happens to be the son of Vairamuthu, Ilayaraja refused to work with the Young Lyricist and that's how the dream has been shattered.
