Finance Minister Yanamala Rama Krishnudu had introduced the first Budget of Andhra Pradesh after the state division.The total budget of the state amounts to 1,11,884 Crore with more than 25000 Crore deficit.
Yanamala tried to incorporate all the election promises of Telugu Desam Party. The new budget also have several mentions of development plans establishing airports, IIITs, Ports, Promoting Tourism etc and Yanamala reiterated that his government is determined to make Andhra Pradesh as Swarna Andhra Pradesh.
This is also TDP government’s budget after 10 years. Yanamala chose to spare the people with no new taxes in this budget.
Total Budget: Rs 1,11,824 crore (Plan Expenditure: Rs 26,000 crore, Non-Plan Expenditure: Rs 85,15,100 crore).
