Berth confirmed for MP Kavuri

Congress senior leader Kavuri Sambasiva Rao is finally getting what he has been waiting for all these years. The Eluru MP is likely to be inducted in the union cabinet in the reshuffle which is expected to take place on Monday.

Reports say, Kavuri has received indication in this regard from High Command and he immediately left for New Delhi on Sunday for the swerning-in ceremony.  He is likely to getting Chemicals and Fertilizers portfolio in the final reshuffle of PM Manmohan Singh's cabinet.

Notably, Kavuri who is five times MP wasn't active in party affairs ever since actor-turned-politician Chiranjeevi was inducted into the cabinet and raised voice against party giving prominence to his juniors like Purandeswari. He openly criticized the High Command for neglecting seniors like him and even threatened to quit the party. At that time, PM Manmohannew pacified him by saying he would be given opportunity in the next expansion and the same has been happening now.

As many as, eight new faces will be taken into the cabinet in this reshuffle. With less than one year to face the general elections, what would these newbies do is the point here!
