The death toll of cyclone Hudhud has risen to 38 by Today. Initially, The number of death has been reported as 5 but the count began growing with each passing day. Within 5 days, Death toll neared 40 and this is a proof of how severe the cyclone has been.
A lot of cyclone affected areas have been still reeling under darkness and Government is working on improving the situation as early as possible. As per estimates, Power will be restored in 80 percent of Visakhapatnam by Saturday.
Lack of proper connectivity is delaying the relief and rebuilding works in cyclone ravaged areas. Telecom Service Providers have assured that they would address the combination gap by Saturday. This should help the Government Machinery to speed up the process.
