In a shocking note, Forty-nine days after he took charge of the Delhi government, Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal Friday resigned following a tumultuous day in the state assembly
Following a day of high drama, Arvind Kejriwal has resigned from the chair as the Jan Lokpal Bill was not allowed to be tabled in the assembly amid strong protest from Congress and BJP.
"Jan Lokpal Bill has not been allowed to be introduced after 42 MLAs opposed it," said the Assembly Speaker MS Dhir in earlier today
Following the rejection of bill, Kejriwal called for an emergency meet at AAP's office in Delhi.
