Counting of votes polled in the Maharashtra assembly elections on 15 October started early morning across the state's 36 districts. In a total 288 seats BJP leading with huge margin.
Ass per latest reports BJP is near 110 seats and its former alliance Shiv Sena is around 65-70 seats. The Raj Thackeray-led MNS had a dismal outing, leading in seven seats, down from the 13 seats it won in the 2009 polls. Seems no party appearing to be in a position to reach the magic figure of 145 seats needed to form the government, its pretty clear that BJP needs alliance with any of the party.
