India reaches world cup quarters

Defending champions team India successfully completed first step and they entered to the quarter finals of the 2015 world cup. India beats the West Indies by four wickets in a World Cup Pool B encounter.

India team registered their fourth straight victory and qualified for the quarterfinals. Chasing a simple target of 183, India reached their target in 39.1 overs to clinch a fourth win.

India lost wickets in frequent intervals while chasing the less target but skipper MS Dhoni took the responsibility and paves way to india's victory.During the chase, Mahendra Singh Dhoni (not out 45), Virat Kohli (33) and Ashwin (16) helped the defending champions cross the line.

West indies won toss and elected to bat first. West Indies skipper Jason Holder top-scored with 57 runs. Bowler Moahmad Shami awarded with man of the match for his three wickets haul.

India need to win three consecutive matches to win the world cup.It will face tough competition in the later stages.
