Reacting on the reports that Telangana Rashra Samithi chief K Chandrasekhar Rao is busy attracting MPs and MLAs from Congress to join pink-party, Congress veteran V Hanumantha Rao responded in style.
‘KCR is a single shop owner. He is zero right now and will invite everyone because getting one more seat is a plus for him’, said V Hanumantha Rao. He added that KCR is having complete belief that Congress will continue in power even after 2014 and that is why he is attracting Congress folks. ‘Telangana sentiment is different and people’s problems are different. Movement continues in the background, but CM Kiran should focus on welfare of people’, VH advised CM Kiran. In the wake of many seniors from Congress looking forward to jump into TRS, it looks like V Hanumantha Rao is taking lead on behalf of high command to prevent them from migrating.
However, VH remained silent on what decision Congress will take on Telangana issue before 2014 elections. When media asked him about this, he simply said ‘Topic is over, thank you’.
