Stun Grenade on Modi's plane: 2 Officers suspended!

Union Civil Aviation Minister Ashok Gajapathi Raju made it clear the object found on Air India plane which was at Prime Minister Narendra Modi's service was actually a stun-grenade, but not the a plastic wrapper as claimed by the airlines. Air India suspended its two officials who were in-charge of security in Mumbai and Hyderabad.

Soon after the incident came to light, Air India issued a press note - 'After screening the aircraft and the object which was found to be a plastic wrapper, the Jeddah airport security cleared the aircraft for further operations.'

However, Aviation Minister Ashok Gajapathi Raju cleared the air by saying a stun grenade which had no explosive material in it was found on Boeing 747-400 which was operating on Mumbai-Hyderabad-Jeddah route.
