Telangana CM KCR is planning to pacify students who participated in separate agitation by risking their careers and lives. As per reports from TS Government sources KCR will soon announce a job reservation quota for students, who fought for separate state hood. The TRS government is planning to set aside a 10 per cent quota of jobs for students who participated in agitations.
Some of the students from the unions met IT minister K T Rama Rao and told him that they had sacrificed their career by taking part in the agitation for Telangana state creation and asked for the separate reservation. As many as 8,047 students had been booked by the police during the T-agitations and it will be easy task for Govt to identify them as thier names were listed in police records.
It will be not a big task for TS govt to accommodate the reservation as total count could be less than 5,000 as some of the students already settled in other jobs.As per sources CM aims to please students with the special quota as majority of them are upset with the TRS government for neglecting them after achieving the Telangana State.
